Emerald Pool runs two hundred and sixty feet along the lower terrace, on the side the headland takes the wind off. Twenty-two cabanas sit along the top edge and eight daybeds sit nearer the water. Everything else is open to anyone staying.

Cabanas 1, 4 and 9 sit at the water rather than at the top of the terrace, at $320 with a $650 minimum. Loungers around the pool are open to anyone staying and are not reserved.

What a cabana includes
Every cabana seats six, with canvas on three sides you can drop when the sun comes around, two loungers, a table and a stocked refrigerator.

- Canvas on three sides, tied back or dropped. The terrace row is shaded from two, the water row from about five.
- A stocked refrigerator
- Water, ice and soft drinks, restocked through the afternoon. What you drink counts toward the minimum.
- A server on your terrace
- One server on that stretch all day. You do not go to a bar and you do not carry a tab around.
- Towels and water
- Brought out when you arrive and replaced without asking.
- Yours all day
- From ten until the pool closes, whether you are in it or not.
At the water
Eating and drinking at the pool
The poolside kitchen is forty feet from the last cabana and it runs from eleven until six. A short menu written for eating with your hands in the sun: grilled fish, one salad that changes, a cold soup in the warm months, and a fruit plate that arrives whether you ask for it or not.
Towels, shade and water are not charged for and never have been. If the pool is not where you want to be all day, bikes and equipment are at the beach hut, two minutes down the path.
Before you book
How the minimum works
A cabana carries a reservation fee and a food and beverage minimum. The fee holds the cabana. The minimum is what you spend at it over the afternoon, on lunch and drinks and whatever else, and anything your party orders counts toward it. If you do not reach it, you pay the difference.
Daybeds carry a fee and no minimum. Loungers around the pool need no reservation at all and never have.
The long lunch
Arrive at noon, eat at the cabana, and stay until the light goes. Lunch for four from the poolside kitchen, a bottle on ice, and the fruit plate that comes whether you ask or not.
The late afternoon
From three, when the terrace is quietest and the water is warmest. Small plates, two bottles, and the cabana until close.
The whole day
Ten until close. Breakfast at the cabana, lunch, and the afternoon. For anyone treating the pool as the reason they came.
Loungers around the pool need no reservation at all.

Before you come down
Hours and season
Open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. all year. The poolside kitchen runs 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the bar does not close between service.
Canceling
Cancel by 9:00 a.m. the morning of with nothing to pay. After that the reservation fee is charged and the minimum is not.
Children
Welcome all day. The shallow end is at the west steps and there is a lifeguard from eleven until five. Cabanas count children in the party size.
Getting in and around
Step-free from the lobby by the west ramp. Two cabanas on the terrace row have a level threshold and the pool has a transfer step at the shallow end. Ask at the desk and they will hold one of the two.
