Every room here faces the water

Sixty-eight rooms, and not one of them faces inward. The west building takes the afternoon and the east building takes the morning, and the four villas sit on the point with water on three sides.

Five room types. The smallest is four hundred square feet with a window seat; the largest is a two-thousand-square-foot villa with its own terrace and its own way in.

In every room

Included with every room

Three things are in all sixty-eight, and one thing is in none of them. Breakfast on the terrace until eleven, the pool and its loungers, and the headland path from the east gate. There is no minibar, in any room, and there never has been: the thing in the refrigerator is water and it is not charged for.

Breakfast until eleven: On the terrace, every day, included in the rate. Not a buffet and not a voucher.
The pool and the loungers: Open to anyone staying, from seven until seven. A cabana is the thing you reserve; a lounger never is.
The headland path: Out of the east gate, nine miles of coast road, and the point at the end of it.
No minibar: Water in the refrigerator, not charged for. Anything else comes from a person on the phone.

Arriving and leaving

Check-in and check-out

Rooms are ready from 3:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m. Arrive earlier and the desk will hold your bags and the pool is open to you. Late departure to 2:00 p.m. is free where the room is not needed, and it is worth asking the night before rather than on the day.

What the rate does not include

Rates are before tax and the resort fee. The resort fee covers the pool, the headland path and the fitness room. It does not cover a cabana, a treatment or a tee time.

Children

Under twelve stay free in a parent's room, and cots are free. The Family Suite and the Headland Villa are the two that genuinely work for four or more.

Getting here

The airport is an hour and ten by car, most of it on the coast road. Parking is free and it is under the west building. A car is worth having for the first day and not much after that. More about the destination.
